- Starting $24-$30 per hour based on training and experience. This rate applies for all work completed on the timeclock, including: direct service, session prep and documentation, driving, administrative duties (phone calls/emails with clients, supervisors and coworkers), supervision and staff meetings.
- Minimum hours offered is 20 per week. Full Time is considered 30-40 hours per week. Total number of hours available to work each week may vary based on contract availability or cancelations. Full Time positions receiving health insurance benefits are required to work a minimum 30 hours per week.
- Employee Benefits:
- Paid Time Off: starts accruing after three months. First year, 1 hour per every 40 hours worked; Second year, 1 hour per every 30 hours worked; Third year and thereafter, 1 hour per every 20 hours worked. PTO hours are flexible and can be used toward vacations, illness, mental health days, etc.
- Travel Reimbursement: $0.585 per mile (max amount by federal law to reimburse as non-taxable income) between all locations between the first and last sessions of the work day.

- Internal Supervision: one hour weekly meetings with direct supervisor.
- CMTEs and/or External Supervision: $600 annual allowance to be used at employee’s discretion between External Supervision or CMTEs.
- External Supervision Employees may seek professional supervision that is outside of AMT clinical supervisors’ experience, identity, or expertise.
- Employees can choose CMTEs offered online, or use up to $600 toward the cost of attending music therapy conferences or toward graduate level course credits.

Qualifications: MT-BC credentials, or immediately qualified to take the CBMT exam. Must obtain LPMT Maryland state license before working directly with clients. Previous clinical experience is preferred. In addition to excellent musicianship, the successful candidate must possess excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and a strong desire to work with children and adults in a variety of settings. Reliable transportation and a working cell phone are required.
